I am my Self with all my beauty and imperfections. I am clarity!
What do you do?
Consultant, motivational speaker, and personal coach.
What's your story?
Through a combination of work experience in both for-profit and nonprofit sectors, I have verifiable success in the areas of: operations management, marketing, team-building, and financial controls. I am proficient in MS Office, iOs (Mac) platforms, and Adobe Design (creative) programs. I have successfully managed a wide-range of projects, acquiring practical, real-time skills that are both transferable and outcomes-based. I welcome opportunities to network, collaborate, and increase my professional development with progressive, like-minded Teams.
Why is creativity important to you?
Creativity is the unseen hand that propels humanity to its highest attributes.
When did you realize you had a creative calling to fulfill?
When I was 8 years old.
How did you embrace it?
I started by writing short stories and designing.
How did that feel?
Like I had found Heaven on earth!
Where has your journey taken you?
Music, Word, and Design are the foundations that I lay my work upon, and I incorporate them in all that I do. In short, I am an interdisciplinary artist. My perspective is that all forms of art are, in their bare essence, shades of the same Source. I believe that the "shades" are mirrors, and an outlet for humanity to experience itself, learn, and grow. As the Executive Director for the Institute of Black History, Art, & Culture, I highlight and promote the contributions of Black and Caribbean culture.
What challenges have you faced?
Homelessness. Divorce. Poverty. But we made it!!
What worked for you?
Never giving up and staying the course.
What didn't work for you?
Giving up and blaming everyone for my challenges.
What 3 tips can you share to help others starting on a similar path?
Don’t quit. Find a spiritual system to develop you. Love fiercely!
What are you working on now?
I produce a 3-Minute Mindfulness podcast.
What's coming up for you in the next year?
Motivational speaking, seminars, and workshops.
What else do you want to do?
I have found my calling. I want to share my gifts with the world.
How might you make that happen?
Staying the course, continue to market effectively, and produce quality content.

Q: What is the meaning of success? A: To wake up in the morning and love the skin I am in.
