Creativity develops a better brain and a better brain means better academic results, better life skills, better social skills and in a nutshell a better person or human. 7. When/how did you realize you had a creative dream or calling to fulfill? As a child, my creativity was ignited because of money. I had to think of ways to make money to make extra pocket money for school. I spent 22 years professionally in the themed events and show arena which means consistent changes and updates from working with one project to another. In 2003, I wanted to teach kids, creative thinking skills and thus Imagine Inventions® started to form as a lesson plan to provide kids with instructional scaffolding; how they can harness and align their imagination by observing, people, cultures, nature and the environment to get an idea and thereafter use structured innovative and systematic inventive thinking to make that idea work! And I used a proprietary and copyright system of creating games for parties! 8. How did you embrace it? 10 years of research and development. 9. How did that feel? A great sense of achievement. 10. Where has your journey taken you? Imagine Inventions® has now evolved to become a Trademarked and Proprietary, After School Education System; 9 Main Frames Education System with Quad Core Functions! Kids go through 9 different frames of learning and teachers 9 frames of teaching! 11. What challenges have you faced? Lack of finance and supporters. 12. What worked for you? What didn't work for you? The focus and attention of younger students 9 to 12 yrs old who were far too playful in a small confined area. 14. What tips can you share to help others starting on a similar path? Don't leave your day job or have a solid investment partner/backer. 15. What are you working on now? IP protection to patent the 2 systems with Spring Singapore. 16. What's coming up for you in the next year? Launching a 7 yr program to nurture and develop kids going to Primary 1 with both academic and enrichment skills. 17. What else do you desire/dream to do?
